Building Honest Relationships:

coaching work with individuals.

"How you do one thing is how you do everything."

I offer coaching as 1-1 support focusing on communication, goal-setting, boundary work, and identity. Coaching is not psychotherapy, nor is it meant to be seen as a replacement for it. I see my role as a facilitator, question-asker, educator, and experienced guide to help you investigate the trickier parts of yourself and your relationships. Coaching does not assess or treat mental health disorders and is not an appropriate substitute for crisis-oriented care.

Being a human being comes with a lot of baggage, and whether you are single or partnered, it's always a good time to start understanding and unpacking how what we carry impacts our day-to-day lives and relationships. This collaborative work helps achieve both short-term and long-term goals, both independent and relational.

Areas of focus

  • Non-violent communication

  • Ethical Non-Monogamy

  • Mindfulness-based practices

  • Ethics and ethical behavior

  • Setting strong relational foundations

  • Safe conversations

  • Understanding Compersion

  • Building honest relationships

What is ENM?

This is the practice of having multiple consensual romantic or sexual relationships with the informed consent of all involved. I also believe it is the practice of radical honesty, transparency, communication, and respect among all partners. I believe ENM is more of a way of life then just a way of being in relationship.

Why Coaching?

Coaching is best described as being goal-oriented, future-focused, and structured, offering clear steps to achieve specific personal objectives. Coaching is not a replacement for counseling or therapy. While counseling and therapy can help to integrate past experiences into the present, I see coaching as a way of implementing new ways of approaching life for those who feel like they have done the work to know themselves and are now looking for an accountability practice to help engage in the world and relationships in a new way.

Short Term work may look like...

  • You have a pressing issue you are looking for specific advice on.

  • Non-monogamy is new for you, and you don't know where to start.

  • You are looking for new ways of being in relationships with people and workshopping options.

  • You are facing a critical point in life and looking to align action with goals and boundaries.

  • You are interested in some tools to add to an already-developed relationship.

  • You are looking for help communicating what you are presently feeling.

Long Term work may look like...

  • You've had a negative experience in non-monogamy and are looking to approach it differently.

  • You are looking to both understand your needs and express them more authentically in all of your relationships.

  • You want to build a self-accountability practice and work towards building and maintaining boundaries in your life.

  • Your social circle isn't familiar with new ways of being in relationships, and you'd like to find support elsewhere.

  • You are looking for a safe and honest space to be held accountable.

  • You are interested in finding out ways to implement radical honest and authenticity in every facet of your life.
